We will be offering both a Competitive and NONcompetitive option.

**Our first few weeks of practice will be used as an assessment for both coaches and parents. If at the end of those weeks your swimmer is not able to swim the entire length of the pool (half length for 6&u) independently, they will be placed in our AquaCUBS group.**

AquaCUBS swimmers will be working their fins off to establish the basics of strokes and swimming stamina. Safety is our number one priority and if and when a swimmer can make their goal distance, unassisted, we will happily move them up to our competitive team practice and meets if they choose!

Competitive Swimmers:

Parents will be responsible for entering their child into each meet via the Swimtopia App. We also have our volunteer positions listed through the site/app for ease and reminders.

Swim Lessons

Springdale has a number of lifeguards and coaches that provide swim lessons. Please contact sarcswim@gmail.com and provide the following information so we may match you with the best option.

Swimmer age, lesson history and coach if SARC coach, current abilities (face in water? float on back? blow bubbles?), concerns, goals. Please also include your phone number as many coaches are best communicated with via text.

From there, scheduling and payment will be done directly between family and coach.

$30 : 1 child 30 min

$45 : 2+ swimmers, 30 min

2026 Swim Team Season will begin May 18th with practices. Competitive swimmers will have TUESDAY evening meets beginning June 2nd. As always, we are subject to location changes and will attempt to host AWAY meets if possible! We will continue to use Time Drops digital timing system and SwimTopia App for our communications about meets. Please ensure you have the SwimTopia App downloaded and note that your swimmers’ account will be linked to the email address of your registration. You do not need the paid version of the app.

June 9th : HOME (Riverwood)

June 16th : AWAY (Stonebridge)

June 23th : Home (Bedford at Falls River)

June 30th : Away (Quail Hollow)

July 7th : Home  (Harrington Grove)

July 14th : Away (Heritage at Wake Forest)

*Weather Delays … Should Mother Nature come visit during a dual meet, both teams will attempt to finish Main Heats (Heat 1) through Breastroke. If unable, teams will discuss alternate days/times to finish the meet and will communicate with families as soon as possible.
